Therapy organized around what makes a life worth living, not what's wrong with you.
Affirming psychotherapy for LGBTQ+ adults in New York. Alex Conway, LMHC.
A practice where you don't start from scratch.
Most of my clients are LGBTQ+ adults who have spent a long time explaining themselves to therapists who didn't quite know the questions to ask. That isn't the work here. Your identity, relationships, and the particular shape of your life are part of what we're working with from session one — not background you have to translate first.
A telehealth practice, by design.
My practice is fully online, by secure video, for clients located in New York State. Telehealth means you don't lose forty-five minutes to a commute on either side of a session, you can do this work from a place that already feels like yours, and the practice can serve clients across all of New York rather than only the few neighborhoods near a Manhattan office.
